The Vide-Poche is crafted from fine Italian cowhide leather in black and lined with red pigskin suede on the inside. Each piece is handmade near Vienna and cross-stitched by hand, giving it its distinctive, artisanal touch.

Munich, and a family in the Bavarian cloth trade since 1773 — selling loden from around 1840, and by 1880 running a loden and traditional-dress department on Marienplatz. The house works only with small manufactures and makers it holds a stake in: loden and tweed from Austria, Bavaria and Scotland, linen from Spain and Portugal, hand-woven cloth from the Aosta Valley, deer and calf leather tanned as naturally as possible. Woven Seisser collars, hand-stitched buttonholes — they don’t invent traditions, as they put it, they tend them.
