"Joppe" by Seisser & Cie. - Washed hunting green organic linen, Heritage Cut
The classic: The Seisser "Joppe", unlined, light and summery, heritage cut, handmade with a matching pocket square.
For generations, Seisser & Cie. has been crafting handmade jackets and ‘travel jackets’ using the same traditional craftsmanship that once clothed King Ludwig on his wild boar hunts in the Spessart and Emperor Franz Joseph on his hunts in Styria. The Seisser company in Graz was awarded the title of Imperial and Royal Purveyor for this – and supplied the House of Seisser in Bavaria with authentic Styrian loden. The Louis Vuitton City Guide has recognised their jackets on several occasions – a responsibility they take seriously.
Manufactured locally with sustainable, short supply chains, authentic (expensive materials) and a great deal of handcraft – rare – but true.
100% handmade. Made to be passed down through the generations.

Munich, and a family in the Bavarian cloth trade since 1773 — selling loden from around 1840, and by 1880 running a loden and traditional-dress department on Marienplatz. The house works only with small manufactures and makers it holds a stake in: loden and tweed from Austria, Bavaria and Scotland, linen from Spain and Portugal, hand-woven cloth from the Aosta Valley, deer and calf leather tanned as naturally as possible. Woven Seisser collars, hand-stitched buttonholes — they don’t invent traditions, as they put it, they tend them.
