Farm Canvas Apron

A one-of-one GR01 apron made from a length of pristine Panama canvas that surfaced at the TANN Farm.

The cloth has the peculiar character of something that has spent a long time waiting to be used: dry, tightly woven and completely untouched. Exactly how long it had been there is difficult to say. It could easily belong to another era.

We left the material largely to itself. The familiar GR01 construction, cut from heavy cotton Panama canvas and made as a single piece.

For now, the canvas is almost unnaturally clean. That will not last. Wear, washing, sunlight and work will soften the cloth and gradually replace the blank surface with its own history.
