Atelier Falkenhagen Flint
The Flint is a very classic, elegant fedora from the Falkenhagen workshop in Hamburg. A brim of about 8 cm, a crown of about 11 cm and a fine, narrow grosgrain band: a hat that always reads as good taste. Women wear it as well as men.
Each Flint is made to measure by hand in the atelier, in the traditional way.

Hamburg, since 1916, when Anna Falkenhagen opened her first hat shop on the Schanzenstraße — a time when a hat was simply what a Hamburger wore out the door. A second shop followed on Valentinskamp in 1934, her son Hans running the original while grandsons Sünke and Uwe took the new one. The house has moved five times in just over a century; Sabine and Jens, Anna’s great-grandchildren, now run it as the fourth generation.
