Technical Cotton John Jacket
Crafted from technical cotton, the John Field Jacket reinterprets the utilitarian character of the classic military jacket through the sartorial language of G. Inglese. Four front pockets define its functional silhouette, complemented by horn buttons, metal pocket buttons and a discreetly concealed first fastening. An adjustable elasticated waist allows the shape to be drawn in for a more defined, personal fit.
The John model takes inspiration from the cultural journey of the M-65 field jacket, famously embraced by John Lennon in the 1970s and transformed from military uniform into an emblem of pacifist and countercultural style. Handmade in Ginosa, Puglia, this interpretation preserves its distinctive character while bringing it into a refined contemporary wardrobe through Italian craftsmanship and understated tailoring.

Handmade shirts from Puglia, old-world Italian craft, natural fabrics, cut and sewn by hand.
A widow in Ginosa started taking in sewing in 1955. Her grandson Angelo runs the house now, from the same atelier on Via Isola Caprera in the old town — where every shirt is still cut and finished by hand. Not partly. Not just the important bits.
Swiss cotton, Australian mother-of-pearl buttons, and edges finished in ways that carry names of their own: ventaglio, cavallino, smerlo, galletto, regina.
